Condo at the Beach

This 1970's condo near the beach was in pretty bad shape, as shown in the Before photos. The owners wanted as traditional look, featuring their love of the beach and race horses.

This closer photo of the living room fireplace shows the stone used for the raised hearth, and a better look at the quartzite ledger stone. The wet bar on the left is beside the sliding glass doors leading to the deck. The windows are overlooking the beach below.

The master bedroom had the old built-ins removed, and the fireplace re-faced with split travertine stone. The raised hearth and fireplace allows the fire to be seen from the bed. This photo does not show the custom bedspread that is shown in another picture.

This view of the master bedroom shows the custom bedspread and accent pillows. Also notice the blue accent wall. Part of the office desk can be seen at the left of the photo.

The kitchen was remodeled with new granite surfaces, including the back splash. The cabinets were refinished. A pub table and stools were added in the breakfast nook area to make more space available in the kitchen. The height of the pub table also allows a view over the bar to the ocean.

The remodel of the master bathroom included two new under mounted sinks, with a lower area for the vanity. One medicine cabinet was replaced by a nook to give a more updated look.

The small dining room area is between the living room area and the kitchen. A favorite painting was featured, lending its colors and brightness to the room.

The small guest bathroom was remodeled with a new under mount sink with a granite countertop. The medicine cabinet was replaced with a niche to update the look. New lighting and refinished cabinets were also installed.
