Multifamily - Condo Conversion from 38 unit apartment building into 22 luxury condominiums
Addison City Villas.
Managed overall project through development of preliminary design, pre-construction and through construction and renovation phase until closeouts and punch lists for the new buyers. Helped with acquiring the property, helped secured funding and worked with City of Chicago to secure permits. CPAN units were created to work with the city's plan to create more affordable housing for working professionals in the City of Chicago. Coordinating meetings with all parties involved such as architects, engineers, municipality, contractors and maintained daily office work, site visits, blueprint reviews, product selection and procurement. Oversaw administrative aspects of project, handling finances, deadlines, schedules, and meetings....
From the "Original Blue Prints" from 1932 please see the project design from progression from my Autodesk files to the Architects final architectural drawings through field verification's and corrections before final procurement of the kitchen cabinets and this process went on through each and final detail......
The building had all finishes removed to the 3 course brick layer and fire walls. Then the building was rebuilt with all modern amenities.
The Addison City Villas were featured in the program "What You Get for the Money" for $200,000 in Chicago on HGTV, DIY, and Fine Living channels. Also, the project has participated in Cavalcade of Homes for the City of Chicago.
