Condo Styling 2020
This 1000 sq ft condo unit had great style already, so we just gave it the upscale feel it wanted in the common areas. With only about 300 sq ft to work with, we chose furniture with a small footprint and big impact.
Velvet chairs and stools in soft neutral silver and rose add luxury with their gold legs. We continued the gold throughout the space for continuity while respecting activity zones. Colorful artwork adorns the walls, adding vivid statements to the space.
We love to start with a neutral palette. Purple was an accent color selection, so we flanked the purple pops with gold, black, copper and aqua to really make it stand out. The white sofa was a little unnerving for the client at first but it all made sense in the end. Black was used around the room and in the rug to make the fireplace facade feel more like it belonged. It was the only black item present before we began.
This tiny space feels so spacious and relaxed. We could fit up to 11 people comfortably here. Nesting tables are a favorite with Signature Interiors LLC because they are a neat, compact way of providing a beverage resting place for every seat in the room. Three sets were used here. We mixed our metals by choosing silver seats with gold legs, and silver nesting tables.
Positive messages are strategically placed as gentle reminders. Small space, no biggie. This was a lot of fun to put together.
