A complete transformation from gold, navy and cranberry Queen Ann style furniture, to a light and airy, modern-chic space. The client was always challenged by this room because the fireplace (which they loved to enjoy) was not centered in the room, which made placing seating around the fireplace difficult!

We opened up the room by adding the sectional and two club chairs to create an easy conversational setting, while still being able to make the best use of the beautiful fireplace!

Upgrades included:

• Changing out the balusters on the chairs and adding a square newel post
• Adding a runner up the stairs
• Re-staining the hardwood floors to a darker color
• Repainting in a light, cool hue
• Adding crown molding and wainscoting
• Adding all new furniture, artwork, accessories, lighting and rugs

They love their new space and are now able to entertain AND enjoy the fireplace.
