This project touched several areas of the house. Showcased here are the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. A structural wall was removed to open a segmented bedroom and allow for a large 4-piece spa retreat bathroom with full glass shower and soaker tub. Natural materials (quartersawn oak and travertine marble) were used throughout the bathroom to enhance the sense of calm in that space. The Living Room was reworked with a new fireplace surround, installed on top of the existing brick, and new furnishings. The basement bathroom and laundry rooms were combined to create an open, bright full bathroom and functional laundry space. The deep farmhouse sink doubles as a laundry sink.
