Contemporary Renovation
This renovation revamped the entire flow of the first floor. We removed a full bath to make way for a longer kitchen, as well as removed oddly placed angular cabinetry. This helped to open the space making the kitchen more accessible from all areas of the home. By making these changes in the main space, it also negated we revise the bathroom as it was oversized for a powder room. A simple bar was added in the basement, as well as motorized window treatments throughout.
On the second floor we completely rearranged the footprint of the master bathroom. By changing the entry point, we were able to enlarge the shower space and move the vanity area to the adjacent wall in order to achieve more counter space. We removed the garden tub, and put in a free standing tub which made it less heavy looking, but also made it easier for maneuver around the bathroom.
