This stunning house is on the outskirts of Essaouira, a charming colonial town on the Moroccan coast. The house was designed with large bay windows to embrace the amazing landscape, the sea and coast at the front of the property and luxuriant gardens at the rear. The contemporary architecture has spacious living areas, perfect for receiving family and friends. A moroccan touch was acheived by adding arches to connect the rooms and cosy rounded niches. Tropical hardwood flooring links the interior of the house to the outdoor living spaces, beautiful terraces to enjoy the seaview and relax in the shady garden. The decoration and furnishings are a combination of different styles - elegant, modern sofas and lighting, handcrafted moroccan furniture in the finest cedarwood, leather and brass, antiques from Europe, Bali and Thailand and colourful Indian fabrics - a wonderful mix of design and beauty from around the world.
