Situated on the water way in Sanibel, this contemporary manse is a vacation home for a northern couple and their family. They wanted to evoke a mood similar to a South Beach boutique hotel for entertaining family and friends. To bring the outdoors in, we used whites and greens reminiscent of the private beach and the lush foliage on the property. White shag carpet throughout helped to maintain a contemporary feel, while creating a warmth that white tile would lack. The bold merrimeko fabric in the living room set the palette for the main living area. But the true show stopper is the LED Shonbeck chandelier in the dining room. The color can be changed to every shade of the rainbow and creates an amazing curb appeal to all who approach.
