This was a stylish transformation of a girls bedroom into a totally chic tween room and girl she-cave, using a fun bright color pallet that consists of yellow, lavender, gray and black. Using Sherwin William Eider White paint on the walls and a gorgeous grey blue trellis patterned peel-n-stick wallpaper to stage a dramatic focal wall. We added a little more drama by hanging a pair of pom pom off-white and black drapes pulled open with matte black curtain holdebacks. We dressed her platform TwinXL in Pottery Barn Teen Organic Luxury Bedding that included a full-size fur throw across the bottom. We placed a large yellow and purple area rug under the bed, and a super cozy bamboo chair filled with toss pillows in the corner for reading and retreating. We then added a few personal photos and colorful prints in matte black frames to the walls; custom toss pillows on the bed and a personalized carved she-cave plaque above the headboard, and this tween bedroom / Tween-cave was complete. After all, girls need their personal space too!
