This traditional home had a southwest themed kitchen with a hodgepodge of flooring, textured and trim in the attached great room. It didn’t fit the new owners or the style of the home. This couple's lives are centered around entertaining friends and family. The kitchen needs to be high functioning for the cooking in the family, open for entertaining and fit their everyday life. Our goal was the make the two rooms flow together with cohesive colors and finished. We completely gutted the space, refinished the walls and ceiling. Added can lighting. Beautiful new Schrock cabinets that go the ceiling with a total rearranged layout. We finished the space with a flowing patterned quartz counter top, new floor tile, handmade tile backsplash with copper and glass accents.
