This traditional craftsman in northern Oakland is home to the Hotwire.com president and his family. It is also the congregation point for the neighborhood kids. As such, they needed a living area that could be truly lived in, used as a playroom by day and an adult-friendly entertainment zone at night. They also wanted visitors to be infused with a feeling of joy. The cheerful art we secured for them accomplishes this. We added custom built-ins with plenty of extra storage, including a window seat used as a reading nook and a custom kitchen table and bench.
