The desire of this homeowner was to make the house accessible to a family member recently confined to a wheel chair. Originally the living/dining area was sunken about 18" below the current height. The entire room, ceiling, and roof needed to be raised. The cabinets installed were custom made by one of our employees. The rest of the home had wood floors, however the homeowner decided to go with tile in this space. Although the tile looks like wood and is a close match to the rest of the home. Under tile heat really makes this home cozy on a cold northwest kind of day.
