A contemporary home in Corona del Mar, built from the ground up for a couple with a clear point of view and a deep love of art. Their brief was livable luxury: rooms elegant enough to feel elevated, comfortable enough to truly live in. When a home is built new from the studs, getting every detail right isn't a nicety. It's essential.
Art led everything. We collaborated with Wrapped in LA to develop a complete art story for the home, then translated it space by space, letting each piece set the emotional tone of its room. Around that art we worked in a language of mid-century and modern: clean lines, warm materials, classic silhouettes, and one-of-a-kind furnishings you won't come across twice. Chief among them, a live-edge dining table, a single slab with a maker behind it, and custom area rugs we designed ourselves, drawn to answer the art's palette and made for this home alone.
The result is layered but never loud. Saturated originals, bespoke rugs, and pared-back furnishings that give all that color room to breathe. A home that feels collected, personal, and unmistakably the people who built it.
