Interior renovation to a barrier island residence on the east coast of Florida. An architectural background was created to unite various rooms that shared a common view to the dining room. Through the addition of beams, paneling, custom cabinetry and accent lighting, an updated British West Indies style was developed . The interior furnishings are transitional with a feeling of the tropics expressed in batik fabrics and natural-fiber fabrics and window treatments.
