The second and third floors of this grand Victorian Parkdale residence were completely opened up and remodeled. White oak floors were site-finished with a natural matte coating that won't yellow over time. Windows were replaced with modern casements or picture windows to maximize views, punctuated by black frames. Skylights were added on both floors by restructuring the roof to bring in light to the central rooms. The result is at once contemporary and timeless, efficient and absolutely stunning.
