The hutch is only 8" deep and allows for storage without impacting flow. Built in appliances fade from view giving the space a warm and inviting feel without being too industrial. Influences like Wright helped to update this kitchen in this 103 year old home.

The 2" thick concrete counter tops add visual weight and their extra depth of 30' as opposed to the typical 24 help to keep lots of prep area for the cooking enthusiasts.

Integrated "Power Columns" between the windows allow for outlets and reproduction push button style switches throughout the kitchen

The open windows bring the outside garden into the kitchen. Creating a feel of light and openness. The power columns are subtly lit behind a peen finished metal plate.

Integration of the power columns and trim details between windows help to tie them together in a linear fashion. The top of each column contains a recessed light accessible from behind a metal plate.

The exterior of this kitchen remodel needed to tie into the existing home. Small exterior lights help to illuminate the space and a bright exterior paint captures an Asian feel, keeping within scope of a craftsman style bungalow.
