On a limited budget my client was able to remove the existing turf, create a slight grade change creating subtle berms and swales (to capture any irrigation or rainfall). We were also able to add a native Oak tree as the center piece of this front yard with a native hedge of Coffeeberry and Toyon shrubs around the perimeter. Topped it off with a birdbath surrounded in a cute patch of Yarrow and Verbena. I can picture this yard in 30 years when the Oak tree has had time to mature and becomes the shade structure for a beautiful front yard.
