The clients needed a second story covered outdoor kitchen adjacent to their master bedroom and formal kitchen to take advantage of a steep overview to a rushing year round creek and waterfall in this very woodsy setting on Vancouver island. The space includes a massive timber roof over with uplighting accenting the oiled tongue and groove Dfir roof deck, large gas grill, separate gas fir pit, floating bar all over an Ipe tiled roof deck that sometimes houses their vintage ‘his and hers’ modified hot rods below.
