I directed the architecture and interior design of the house to harmonize modern and Japanese design, to fit to the culture of my client.
It is a Mid Century Modern Transformation: open floor layout with a lot of light to fit the modern life.
By taking advantage of the natural slope of the lot and designing one horizontal roof line, I could gain different heights in the house.
The entrance is designed to stand out by using a butterfly roof and different siding material.
