This project was completed at the Zeiser residence. The client brought the idea to us and we collaborated with them on the design and details to bring it to reality. The 50 foot long "privacy screen" is constructed of Corten (weathering steel). Corten is a specialized steel that is sealed by it's initial layer of rust and protected from further deterioration. This allows the steel to be left completely untreated in outdoor applications, forming a deep dark rust color that can be left in it's natural state. The posts were staggered throughout the existing landscape, strips of steel were cut and bent creating a unique fence that flows though the landscaping.
