This one-of-a-kind, natural slab bench was created to match a curved wall contour in an entryway. This particular slab was chosen because the curve in the grain follows the curve in the wall of the client's entryway. The maple "leg" on the right was cut from the top piece and dovetailed together. The walnut block was added for contrast and to add a contemporary feel. The experience of the entire bench can change depending on what you put in the hole in the walnut block, i.e. Flowers, autumn leaves, stones, water, a candle, etc...
