Custom finished Staircase
Original stair case was golden stained red oak. We refinished it to match the Island Cabinetry. Which is a gray/taupe stain on Maple. It’s difficult to make Red Oak match a Maple stain. Red Oak is that, it carries a pink or redish undertone and Maple is blonde. The Staircase was completely stripped to raw wood. A special application of several coats of converstion finish with a special top coat which will hold up to the traffic the Staircase will endure. This is not just faux finished or painted by a “painter” because that will just ware or scrape off in a short period of time. If you look closely you can see there’s a depth and variation to this finish which gives the appearance of a stained look. It was created by a Furniture Finisher who has amazing talents. This is a multifacited process and took an entire week just to refinish. Yes, we can do that!
