This was our second project with this client. A year after we did roman shades for their kids homework zone, we were invited back to help as they were completing a major kitchen update and new painting on the main floor. Their color story changed from warm neutrals to colors with lots of energy. Because the sun room and kitchen have open sight lines, maintaining the color story was important, however the client still wanted each space to have it's own personality. The cornices we designed for the sun room brought in the gray from the foyer and bright white from the kitchen, and a handful of updated navy and aqua accessories made the transformation complete. In the kitchen, we continued the color scheme with a modern botanical print in blacks and grays on a bright white background. The soft lines of the valance are a great juxtaposition against all the square finishes of the cabinetry and tile and the result is a welcoming view as soon as you enter the home.
