Custom Walnut Desk

If anyone has seen anything even close to this, I'd love to see the pics.
This was built from an original design by Edge of Archeticture, with help from Wahoo Custom Woodworking, Lee's Custom Finishes, and Rock Solid.
Is this a piece of art or a desk? Done in natural finished walnut, with a gold calcutta marble top.

Here it is coming back from finish, with all it's other layers and final finish on. Yes , it is upside down. That was the most stable way to transport it. It had to go on an 8'' by 8' flat bed, and pretty well filled it up.

This is just the first layer veneered and finished, waiting to apply the next layers.

Now the curved panels are in sealer. Still upside down, but sealed. We built most of it upside down, and didn't see it from the top till it was almost done.
