It started with a picture - A farm sink, a countertop over the W&D, a cabinet or two, etc. But we wanted the counter all one level, so we custom built an oversized, extra deep sink cabinet

It had to be extra sturdy to support the cast iron sink and as tall as the W&D, so it is 39 1/2" tall and has the three nice drawers
