Dalston House
This narrow glass extension was part of a larger refurbishment of a family home in East London. The architects were looking to add a modern twist to the house whilst maintaining character and personality to the spaces.
Two slick black boxes form the new extensions to the rear of the property. Due to the nature of the building and its narrow frame, these glass extensions also formed a narrow print.
The longest of these narrow glass extensions housed a simple set of minimal windows to the rear elevation. This two-pane sliding glass door provided the direct garden access and minimal glass design required for the narrow space.
