This was the first painting with the outlines done first. I ended up painting over them again in the end.

While applying the color I was very careful to leave space so that the colors were aligned separate from the black to give it the feel of a misprint.

I applied two layers of each color for solid color blocks and very few brush marks.

I used Black 2.0 (comparable to the blackest black ever created) for extra dramatization.
