This is our remodel of our 1992 Acorn Deckhouse. We own a window and door company and have been around construction our entire life. Unfortunately this house was left to rot and a lot of the exterior wood was destroyed. Because of our access to modern materials we used a lot of material that still kept the earthy feel without the maintenance. These materials included Silverline vinyl windows, Thermatru fiberglass door units, timbertech decking and eldorado stone. The interior still remains as rustic as Deckhouse intended with upgrades such as ceramic tile, modern colors and granite counters
