Deep Creek Home

This project, a new home on a property nestled on the edge of Deep Creek Lake, presented an interesting challenge in the design of a 12,000 SF house. The Owners requested to keep the existing garage shell and connect the new living areas but still obtain the ultimate view of the lake. The 50 foot high stone tower was used as a hinge to rotate the main section of the home and the great room’s large windows direct on axis with lake view and setting sun. The tower is accessed by a spiral stair to a space that has a 360 degree panorama of the lake and property. The exterior is composed of natural stone and stucco to
complement the rustic French Country architectural style that the Owners desired. Interiors include heavy timber and wood ceiling with 9 bedrooms, game room, home theater and bar with custom built-in casework throughout.
