Denver Botanical Gardens

Six garden structures -at a destination that receives over 600,000 visitors per year- ranging from the elaborate restoration of an old structure built in Japan, to conceiving a new vernacular in the creation of the “moongate” entrance to the Mongolian Garden. Built primarily of Western Red Cedar planks, and Port Orford Cedar timbers sawn from logs killed in an 1880’s Southern Oregon fire.
