After four years of planning and one year of construction, J Hill Interiors’ Principal Designer and Owner, Jessica Hill-Tompane, and her family finished their own dream home. As a prime example of interior design in Coronado, a petite island with a bridge connecting to the heart of San Diego, the seaside living inspiration and Jessica’s personal tastes came together in one place.

From Gothic archways to Mexican-inspired cement tiles, their home build features an array of elements from different origins – and is entirely their own. The many warm hues, such as the unique touch of a red island in the kitchen, are offset by calming neutrals. Everywhere you look, a thoughtful mix of old and new furnishings and textiles unite the past and present.
