Our firm was commissioned to renovate a privately owned suite at the Detroit Athletic Club. We had to stay within a tight budget and at the same time use contract goods to meet standard code. This was a learning lesson in my career as you must calculate fitting new goods into a freight elevator, and not tap a fire exit sign........ We used beautiful wool flannel on our drapes and bedding. All walls were covered with Osborne & Little commercial grade goods. The "bar area" was painted white to update the space. Conference table was preserved. New carpeting was installed throughout as well as new drapery panels.
