This kitchen remodel began with an existing space lacking both natural flow and functional working space due to a cumbersome existing oversized island. The clients also wanted to remodel the outdated existing cabinetry and original appliances. The custom copper hood serves as the focal point, further accentuated by the custom diagonal herringbone design below. The Geppetto cabinetry features a linen finish and light brown glaze. The island is finished in a warm cherry with black glaze to add depth and excitement. Lapidus Granite countertops and tumbled marble backsplash bring movement and shine to the space. The pendant lights featured are Murano glass. The island, which was re-designed to maximize functionality, features smart touchless faucet and sink. To complement our client's love of cooking, we incorporated butcher block into the countertop and upgraded the appliances to professional grade Sub Zero refrigerator and Wolf range. The adjacent breakfast room was also remodeled with the addition of stained cedar to planks to accentuate the height of the space.
