The perimeter cabinets are made by Diamond Cabinetry, in the Laguna Door Style, Coconut with Greystone Glaze on Maple. The Island, which is Diamond Laguna Door in Storm finish on maple, has no sub base (we built a smaller sub - base under the 2 drawer bases, trimmed the bottom around all 4 sides of the Island with matching Light Rail that matches the perimeter cabinets. I then had 4 feet added to the corners. It is mounted for stability, has electric running on it for appliances, and seating on the back and one end. The wood floor plank floor is in a soft weathered grey and appears to go underneath the Island. It also extends into the Foyer, Family Room and Conservatory.
Counter tops are Cambria Quartz. We used contrasting selections to compliments the cabinetry and stayed with a simple and easy to clean edge.
