Different one room projects

These are all different homes from the Peoria area. I wanted to show how paint colors tell who the person is. When someone walks into a room that I have designed and painted, I want that person to know who the room belongs to, maybe even tell a story.

Katie wanted colors that she could use Contemporary furniture or Italian furniture with.

Katie's Living Room

Joe wanted bright colors to show his bright personality and a bachelor pad design.

Joe's Apartment

Simple, elegant and comfortable is what I was going for in this living room. Notice the cube of the picture over the wall is off just for an eye catcher,

Brad is a simple man who is newly divorced and wanted to keep his living room simple with a clean look and still inviting to a woman.His windows gave him plenty of light so I choose lighter toned colors with some masculinity.

Debbie wasn't sure of her furniture yet but she knew that she loved traditional so I took these colors from some photos she had in her old house that she planned on using in her new house. The curtains were too simple by themselves so I added a burgundy colored fabric to accent and give color.

What can I say? Pink is in for the girls and zebra is the bomb. Nothing spectacular here....just fun.

Lexie's Bedroom

Lexie and Taylor are best friends and both had asked for their bedrooms to be designed for their 16th birthday. Taylor's favorite color was purple. Her space was limited so we went with dorm room look.

Notice I even painted the ceiling. I love a finished look and when I see white ceilings with colored walls I feel like it still has work to be done. I try to encourage this with all my clients. This room has three different tones and is one of my favorites.
