We installed here a telephone keypad intercom access control system by Doorking for residential home in Los Angeles, CA. This systems built to work forever. We ingested the intercom to the pedestrian gate door electrical strike (the door buzzer), ao now when someone is at the gate he can press the button it will be dialed to the customer phone and by pressing a key on his phone he be able to open the pedestrian gate from anywhere in the world. Yes he wont be able to see whos at the gate, you right he wont be able to record whos there, but since he lives in Hollywood mountains and the internet reception is not so good and he wanted to go with a sustem that he know and had (his system was broken already..) so this was rhe cheapest solution and the most reliable one.
