This dated 25 year old kitchen felt closed in and separated from the rest of the living areas of the home. Dark cabinets, molded Formica countertops, black appliances and a brass and milk glass chandelier left much to be desired.
We removed the wall between the kitchen and the living room to open up the space and give the chef a view to the living area. The chase for the existing plumbing was moved back a foot to create a fun window to showcase the client's artwork. (Not pictured) Light and rustic flat panel cabinetry, shades of green glass tile backsplash, black granite countertops and stainless steel appliances not only gave the space a much needed facelift but connected the cooking, dining and living areas of the home.
