This downtown Los Angeles project included a lobby, offices and a conference room shared by 3 attorneys. They had recently relocated and requested an upbeat contemporary look as well as sound proofing and privacy for their new space. This is a leased historical building so alterations to the structure were not allowed. I selected "concrete" carpet tiles, which can easily be removed, to simulate the original concrete floors. I also specified 1/4" cork underlay to provide additional sound proofing. I selected floors, furnishings, artwork, privacy screen. The maple office furniture was provided by the client.
