Dreamy Master Bathroom Renovation

This project started like any other with a simple phone call. Yet it was also one that’s touches on the fun of life, community and working local. Why is that? The call came from a man named Jim. Chris had gone to school and played football with his son, Steve. Now in the early, early football days Jim was one of the volunteer coaches for the Pop Warner football team Chris and Steve were playing on. Good Times!

Yes, there was a little reminiscing and catching up, then the discussion of the project they wanted to do came in. Their roof had had a leak over the master bathroom area. With the roof repaired and the bathroom being original, they felt it was the right time for a renovation. Chris went to meet with Jim and Jean to understand any of the “pains” with the current bathroom and the get a understanding for the new design direction. Jean really shined through here, she knew just what she wanted and was decisive in her decisions making for a quick turn around to get this renovation going.

Although this bathroom received a refresh, the layout stayed the same. The only modification was to create a double vanity. We performed a complete demolition down to framing. Then began the process of putting all the pieces back together. The finishes being in the neutral tones, primarily greys and browns look fantastic. A full tile shower with cut stone mosaic floor and one simple accent band for pop just draws you in. Completed with sliding glass doors keeps the space open and allows you to see and appreciate the tile selection. The vanity, a beautiful deep rich brown, gives contract and makes a statement. It is also larger creating more comfort for the users. Finished with “Thunder White” granite again getting contrast but merging with the overall design.

Simply put, they love it, we love it! How about you?
