Dry Well Drainage Systems

Dry well systems are underground structures designed to store water and gradually infiltrate the water into the ground.

In theory, dry wells provide significant stormwater infiltration capacity in a relatively small footprint. The challenge in St. Louis, Missouri is the high clay content in the soil… oftentimes this limits the effectiveness of the systems. We recommend always having overflows on dry well systems. Overflows can include a simple pipe installed to a lower elevation, or an external pumping system to pump off excess water during rainy months.

Our crews build dry wells from scratch and we also install the patented NDS Flo-Well® Engineered Dry Well systems.
