This Dublin kitchen got a full refresh without a full gut. We kept the existing perimeter cabinetry and gave it new life with a fresh coat of paint, then layered in new countertops, a tile backsplash, and a statement range hood to modernize the whole space. New sink and faucet rounded out the functional updates.

The biggest change came in the center of the room. We replaced the original island with new Amish-made custom cabinetry, built to match the style of the existing cabinets so everything reads as one cohesive design. The new island works as hard as it looks: a drawer microwave keeps the countertop clear, and pull-out cabinets with built-in storage make the most of every inch.

The result is a brighter, more functional kitchen that feels brand new while honoring the bones of the original space. A great example of how a thoughtful refresh can deliver a dramatic transformation at a smarter investment than a complete tear-out.
