This Duplo Play n’ Study is our very own creation based on our client request. Our client is a husband with two kids, both entering the age when curiosity and creativity start to grow. He wanted to have a multipurpose table that can be serve for study and play Duplo. And, he also wanted the table to have chairs and storage area suited for his children.


We created numerous concepts for this table design, most importantly how to create a functional table and still offer a great comfort when their children use this table. We also took consideration with safety, making it a round shape on its edge, so children will not get hurt when they accidentally get knocked while playing or studying.


For the chair, it designed to ensure the children will have a maximum comfort and its height has been systematically measured so children will not fill sore and sick when they are sitting. For the storage, we created it based on an iconic Duplo shape, along with a roller so children will not have a difficulty to put or take their Duplo blocks.


Then, we go one step further by adding what we think very important, which is portability. This table could be easily folded and give it ease of mobility when our client want to take his children to play outside.
