The new cabinet layout plan eliminated a door a door coming into the kitchen.

As there was already an opening by the breakfast room to the rest of the house, this door wasted a lot of space. The new plan eliminated the door, creating a lot more counter space. The position of the peninsula and refrigerator was switched.

New wiring was installed and under counter LED lights from IKEA® were added below all cabinets. The effect is stunning. It almost makes the upper cabinets look like they hover above the beautiful counter top. Additional recessed ceiling lights were installed in strategic positions for good light on work spaces. Plug points were carefully positioned with a four point outlet placed inside the appliance garage – allowing for cell phones to be charged out of view while appliances used daily can be used with no fuss.
