E 97th Place - Master Bathroom

A "cookie-cutter" bathroom makeover. This typical 5-piece bathroom had a poor layout. The shower was tiny. The soaker tub was rarely used and took up a lot of space. The builder's grade finishes and fixtures made it look unappealing. The goal of the project was to design a contemporary bathroom with a more functional space plan. By eliminating the tub, we were able to accommodate a double vanity with a make-up area, which is now the focal point of the room. It also allowed building a much larger shower. The frameless glass enclosure is almost disappearing, making the bathroom even more open. The new materials and finishes create a simple, clean, minimalistic look.
