This was a delightful project to work on and offered an almost clean slate. The final design comprising small patio areas, a pergola, lounging area and a water feature felt perfect for the home which was Mediterranean style and perched at the top of a hill in Eagle Rock.
Special attention was paid in the site planning and garden design to the water wise design of this landscape. Where possible the paving is unmortared with a sand base to ensure the return of valuable water to the soil and plantings. Plantings are arranged according to water needs, good soil preparation was paramount, plantings are irrigated by drip system and a good covering of wood mulch was used.
