Inspired by the early modernist work of Richard Neutra, Joseph Eichler and Rudolf Schindler the house is a tight package of functions with an unencumbered feel of expanse. The lines are blurred between the in and outdoors. A blend of clerestory lined shed roofs and low flat roof roofs are positioned create the balanced form and make well light volumes in major spaces. A blend of plaster, cedar, glass and a light steel frame that allow the roof to float and frame panoramic views. Positioned to provide an unexpected degree of privacy for a subdivision lot with the right amount of space for shade and sun.
