Eat in Galley Kitchen

Home owners had a galley kitchen with limited floor space and an oversized refrigerator which overpowered their traffic areas. I redesigned their kitchen using a counter depth refrigerator correctly placed which increased their galley floor space. An eat in dinette area was added to the kitchen as well as changing a sliding patio door with a three unit bow window which added wall space, more light and a seating area. We incorporated a buffet area to the right of the eat in kitchen space for additional storage and counter top use. Glass wall cabinets were added as a focal point on the left side of the galley along with a sweeping radius on the granite counter top for additional space for our customer's phone and message center. The archways associated with the entry way, the dining room and the kitchen were all widened and re "arched" to match creating a consistant look throughout the first floor of our clients home. We installed hardwoods throughout the entryway, dining room and kichen to continue the seamless appearence. This remodel took a common galley design to a new level. By redesigning the foot print and using the appropriate appliances our clients can now enjoy their new updated, family friendly kitchen space.
