This kitchen won the 2014 ASID Steven Ely Design Award -- First Place Crystal Award for a residential single space. The kitchen was gutted and a small area from a laundry room was borrowed that made the kitchen focal wall much more pleasing and allowed a balance that was not previously there. A mix of materials and pops of color makes this space both dramatic and playful. It unites an unlikely pair of Contemporary and Country French styles.
