This young professional couple, wanted their home to be comfortable, but fun. Marilyn of Mjk Design, went on to search the local consignment & 2nd hand shops to find interesting pieces. The green ottoman was originally a wood coffee table. Marilyn had the piece stripped down, refinished and upholstered with a luscious green velvet fabric. The ceramic birds on the FP give the room a whimsical feel.
