Two of these cane-backed chairs survived the fire. With their elegant carving and fine finish, there was no alternative to dressing them in a stunning silk and letting them pose aside this glass objet d'art.

The end result of 18 months of rebuilding after a fire. Salvaging some of the traditional antiques and marrying them with contemporary contours and finishes yielded a home where people walk in the door and just stop and look.

This is the entryway, showcasing the eclectic nature of the home. A series of smoke color glass globe light fixtures lead the way. Their delicacy is juxtaposed by the heavy, chained, iron-rimmed mirror. Raw silk area rug and deer-legged bench invite guests to look, but don't touch.
